I am going to attempt (key word, ATTEMPT) to give updates on the Tinklenberg Energy Tour going on today through the Political Muse Twitter feature located exclusively on the right side bar of Liberal in the Land of Conservative.

Also, consider this an open thread to discuss differences between the Tinklenberg and Bachmann energy agendas.

    El,
Do you support renewing and even ramping up tax breaks for solar, wind, geothermal AND actually paying for it by eliminating oil tax breaks?
    Thanks,
    Alec Timmerman

Hope Tinklenberg mentions that an Energy Information Administration study showed Bachmann's plan won't have any impact on oil prices at all until 2030.

EIA also says there are 5 Billion barells of proven reserves that that are not being produced for no other reason than the oil companies don't want to set up the infrastructuce.

Jeff, That EIA study is based on oil being $60/bbl. in 2020.

Frankly, I'd love starting from a $60/bbl. baseline.
