Rob Jacobs, DFL candidate running against Dan Severson (R) in District 14A, is running an aggressive campaign to unseat Severson. With a St. Cloud Times endorsement in hand, he was out in force yesterday to get out the vote.
In electing DFLer Jacobs, voters certainly will get a less-polished, more progressive legislator. Yet they also are more likely to have a voice in St. Paul who will listen to all sides and then act in a way that best serves most District 14A constituents.

Calling Mr. Jacobs moderate to conservative is disgraceful. He's the most liberal candidate at the debates I've covered, far outdistancing Larry Haws & Joanne Dorsher.
BTW, what type of fine will be levied against Mr. Jacobs for campaign finance reporting violations?
PS- I don't think Dan's in trouble. I think he'll score a solid victory.
Jacobs is pro-life, supports Minnesotans rights to bear arms, and has devoted his life to public service. Is that what we are calling liberal candidates now days? P.S. Gary, why the posting at 3:21 A.M. - that sounds liberal.
