A new fictional committee, The Committee To Screw The Middle Class, has endorsed the recent comments by Michele Bachmann about the pride she feels in others working longer hours and more jobs.
"I am so proud to be from the state of Minnesota. We're the workingest state in the country, and the reason why we are, we have more people that are working longer hours, we have people that are working two jobs."
The committee has released a new campaign advertisement expressing support for Bachmann and what it has dubbed the, "Get a Third Job Agenda". Perhaps, they say, if people got off their butts and got that third job we wouldn't be dealing with a recession (even though Bachmann does not recognize our situation as recession and believes that this economy is recession proof).
