I received one of the strangest email messages today. No, not one of those messages indicating that I had won the UK lottery or that someone from Uganda wanted to funnel millions of dollars to my bank account. It was from some person touting Lewis Black and his choice for President. While I would love to see Santa (Black's choice) as President, I am not sure that he is a native born citizen. Even more than that, has anyone ever bothered to check the visa status of Santa? We may have a rampaging illegal going from house to house stealing our freshly baked cookies. Someone really ought to notify Tom Tancredo or Duncan Hunter so they can build a wall to keep out this drain on our economy!
Anyway, the Des Moines Register has uploaded some video from their editorial board interview with Joe Biden back in May.
Check it out:
What Are Voters Looking For?
Well said, Joe! Democrats must not be afraid to point out the immorality of a group willing to waterboard but unwilling to fund health care for children. Any party willing to sacrifice the Constitution for temporary safety does not deserve the reigns of government.

Above all, Biden is a pragmatist and that is what is sorely needed in the White House these days. We don't need more folks mouthing about every promise under the sun but delivering little as they learn that they cannot go it alone. I may even be more liberal than Biden, but I understand that my view may not always be the right path and a pragmatist will at the very least look at these options before finding the right path.
Welcome to Liberal in the Land of Conservative!
I, Political Muse, will be your host and my hope is to provide a dash of political commentary, a sprinkle of policy wonkishness, and a double dose of snarkiness to the blogosphere in Minnesota.
